Jojoba is a shrub that is grows in dry regions of northern Mexico and the southwestern US. Jojoba oil and wax are produced from the seeds and used for treatments and moisture. Jojoba esters are the hydrogenation of jojoba oil and act as an emollient and moisturizer for dry, damaged hair. Jojoba esthers act as a natural barrier for the skin and scalp preventing inflammation or irritation, and aids in removing contaminants and environmental pollutants.
Shea ButterShea Butter is said to be the most moisturizing ingredient that occurs in nature. Extracted from the nut of the African shea tree, it is most commonly used as a moisturizer due to its fatty acids. It locks moisture deep into hair and skin. It coats hair cuticles to prevent water evaporation and softens hair texture. Ideal for use on dry scalps or dry, damaged hair. Anti-inflammatory properties can help soothe inflamed scalps that may have itchy patches. Shea butter absorbs easily and deeply penetrates to restore hair.
Coconut OilCoconut Oil is extracted from the coconut tree. It functions as a natural treatment for dry skin and reconditions dry, damaged hair because it penetrates the hair shaft, getting past the cuticle repairing the hair from inside out and helps prevent further damage. Coconut oil helps reduce dandruff and makes hair follicles healthy.
